2 Weeks Vacation Pay – Once you’ve reached your one year anniversary date, NNT will start counting the days you work. Once you have worked 125 days from your anniversary date, you will receive a check for $500.00. You will receive a $500.00 check every time you reach 125 days. Depending on how much you work, you may earn up to 2 vacation checks per year. These checks are paid whether you take off or not and do not translate into actual vacation time.

Financial:

Competitive Pay Package
- More than 2 years experience:
  - Starting pay at 37 cents per mile or commission
  - Reach top pay in 12 months at 48 cents per mile or 21 % to 25% commission
401 Retirement Plan
Safety Bonus – To further our positive history with roadside inspections, NNT will pay $25.00 to the driver when he turns in a roadside inspection with NO violations. This means not even warnings. If you receive a CVSA sticker, you will be paid $50.00. If you receive a CVSA HazMat Sticker, you will receive a check for $75.00.

Requirements:

At least 2 years continuous OTR experience
No Felony convictions within the last 5 years
At least 25 years of age
Must hold CDL Class A license

No license suspensions or revocations for moving violations in the past 5 years and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years..

Bad News Early

Due to our strict transit requirements, operations (Lester, William and Vanessa) need to know your capabilities of delivering to military bases. For instance, if you are coming from Texarkana, TX and going to Dover AFB, DE, you as the driver need to start indicating time issues prior to pulling into our facility at King George, VA. It’s always nice to get at least a six to eight hour heads up so we can coordinate the hand off to a fresh driver. Each military shipment is time sensitive and we have to fulfill the requirements of our contract while remaining in compliance with D.O.T.

Paychecks

Paychecks are issued weekly (Friday). EFS checks are a convenient way to have your paycheck available to you while you are on the road. Direct Deposit is not available.

Due to the fact that payroll is always paid a week behind, your first paycheck will not be issued until your second week of work.

Fueling

All fueling requires proper authorization. PO’s are required and specific amounts of fuel will be pumped. Currently, EFS cards are used and at the time of fueling, the specific amount of fuel will be placed on your card.

Repairs

All repairs are to be made at authorized Peterbilt and Mack locations. 24 hour road service. No unauthorized repairs will be tolerated.

All tire replacements or repairs must be authorized by the home office.
